Action of Medicine:

This remedy destroys phlegm, and is useful for fevers associated with catarrhal symptoms. Generally useful for bowel complaints. Diarrhoea and dysentery. Alternating diarrhoea and constipation, it acts as a mild stimulant to the intestinal mucus membrane. It can act as a laxative for existing constipation. Intestinal colic.
Dropsy, particularly when due to heart disease. Continued fever associated with dropsy, especially of children. Dropsy in certain parts or throughout entire body. Bruised pains. Diminished appetite. Sensation of heat worse movement, better rest. Weakness.
