Gastro aid tablet is a safe and non-habit forming treatment providing relief from indigestion, hyperacidity, cramps and constipation.

Allergy to various substances may cause severe gastro-intestinal reactions. Common food allergens include contaminated water, eggs, chocolates, pork, wheat, milk, nuts, strawberries, cottonseed oil etc. Indigestion is the foremost sign that reflects the disturbance of the self-regulating digestive system. Intolerance to certain foods results in symptoms like hyperacidity, abdominal discomfort after meals, nausea, vomiting, disagreeable taste, flatulence, stomach/ abdominal cramps, diarrhoea or constipation.

The most common manifestations are in the form of:

Stomatitis: Inflammation of the mucosa of the mouth.

Heartburn:

Hyper secretion of acid gastric juice produces erosions of the mucous membranes of the lower end of the oesophagus, the stomach or duodenum. The cardinal symptom of peptic ulcer is epigastric pain. That may be described as burning, gnawing, cramping or aching and usually comes in waves that lasts several minutes. The pain is more severe before meals and at bedtime.

Flatulence: Excess accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestines. The gas in the stomach may be expelled by belching, while intestinal flatulence is relieved by passage of flatus. The accumulated gas produces a sensation of pressure, fullness or distention in the upper abdomen, a sensation of suffocation, palpitation, dyspnoea, cardiac pain and even a fear of impending death.

Altered bowel habits: Constipation/diarrhoea, ineffectual urge for stools.

Thymus serpyllum:
Asafoetida: Cutting and Burning in stomach, flatulence and regurgitation of liquid.

Hydrastis canadensis: Bitter taste; Bread and vegetables cause acidity, weakness and indigestion; Vomits all that he eats; Acute, distressing, cutting pains in stomach, gastric and intestinal catarrh followed by ulceration.

Lycopodium clavatum: Slow digestion, burning, sour or bitter risings especially after a meal; Heart burn and vomiting; Aching in stomach and abdomen after every meal; Great appetite but small quantities make him feel bloated; Liver, sensitive.

Coriandrum sativum: Prevents abdominal cramps and stomachache.

Carbo vegetabilis: Digestion slow; Simplest food causes eructations, heaviness, fullness, sour risings, nausea and vomiting; Flatulent, cramp like colic with burning in stomach and abdomen.

Composition: Garlic Bulb Extract (Allium Sativum) (Contains minimum 4 mg allicin) 400mg, Ginger 20mg.
