Indication

Benzocainum, a homoeopathic medicine prepared from Ethyl-para-aminobenzoate (an ester of para-aminobenzoic acid), is a lesser-known but valuable medicine chiefly acting on the nervous system, pain sensations, mucous membranes, and blood. It helps in marked local anesthetic effects, leading to numbness, loss of sensation, and weakness. In homoeopathic practice, it is helpful in neuralgic pains, nervous irritability, circulatory weakness, and skin or mucous membrane affections.
