Cistus canadensis is a deep-acting anti-psoric homoeopathic remedy prepared from the whole plant of Helianthemum canadense, belonging to the Cistaceæ family. It exhibits a powerful influence on glandular affections, , and skin eruptions, especially when the patient is extremely sensitive to cold. It is known for its affinity to the naso-pharynx, lymphatic system, and mucous membranes, and is effective in conditions involving cold sensations, suppuration, and malignancy.
