Indication

Eupion (Wood-Tar Distillation) is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the distillation of wood-tar. Though less commonly used in mainstream practice, Eupion holds a unique place in homoeopathy for its pronounced action on female reproductive health, the spine, and the nervous system. It is particularly beneficial in addressing uterine displacements, backaches, and symptoms associated with abnormal menstruation. Eupion is also known for its peculiar nervous sensations, including a feeling as though the whole body were made of jelly, and marked emotional changes.

SBL's Eupion can be helpful in the following conditions:

• Uterine Displacement and Leucorrhoea

• Particularly useful in uterine displacements and chronic tubal diseases.
• Addresses early and profuse menses, accompanied by burning or stitching pains in the chest and heart.
• Beneficial for gushing or yellow leucorrhea, especially when associated with severe backache.
• Alleviates soreness and irritation in the vulval region during urination and pruritus pudendi (itching of the vulva).

• Backache

• Severe lower back pain, especially in the sacral region, with a sensation as if the sacrum were broken.
• Backache often requires the patient to lean for support.
• Pain extends into the pelvis and is often followed by discharges. 

• Nervous Sensations and Disturbing Dreams

• A peculiar sensation as if the whole body were made of jelly.
• Intense sweating from the slightest exertion, contributing to fatigue and weakness.
• Disgusting or disturbing dreams, pointing to underlying nervous disturbance.

• Pulsative Headache and Vertigo

• Vertigo on sitting up, with a sensation of the surroundings spinning.
• Heat and pulsation at the vertex; stabbing pains radiating from the top of the head down to limbs and abdomen.

Safety

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place; avoid sunlight and heat.
• Avoid strong smells (onion, hing, mint, garlic) during use.
• Allow 15 minutes gap between two homoeopathic medicines, 30 mins gap between Homoeopathic medicines and food, or one hour gap between Homoeopathic medicines or another system of medicines.
