Indication

Gambogia, also known as Gummi Gutti, is a valuable homoeopathic medicine derived from the resinous gum of the Garcinia morella tree, a species native to China. Belonging to the Guttiferæ family, this medicine is primarily used for its intense and specific action on the gastro-intestinal tract. Gambogia is especially beneficial in assisting acute diarrhoeadysentery, and gastro-intestinal irritability. It is particularly beneficial during hot weather and for elderly patients.

Diarrhoea and Dysentery

• Profuse, watery diarrhoea, especially during hot weather or in elderly individuals.
• Sudden, forceful ejection of bilious stools followed by tenesmus and burning at the anus.
• Gambogia is useful in dysentery with retained scybala and pain in the sacral region.
• Ileo-cæcal region sensitive to touch or pressure.

• Great irritability of the stomach with pain after eating and epigastric tenderness.
• Burningsmarting, and dryness of the tongue and throat.

Safety

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place; avoid sunlight and heat.
• Avoid strong smells (onion, hing, mint, garlic) during use.
• Allow 15 minutes gap between two homoeopathic medicines, 30 mins gap between Homoeopathic medicines and food, or one hour gap between Homoeopathic medicines or another system of medicines.
