Indication

Hypophysine LA

Common Name: Hypophysine

(Loboanterior) can be helpful in the following conditions:

Emotional and Irritability

• Indicated in emotional shocks following disappointment in love.

Headache and Vertigo

• Occipital pain and constriction of the forehead, often from 3:00–4:00 p.m.
• Headache alternating with scotoma, or accompanied by blindness in the left eye.
• Vertigo, especially before or during menses, with a tendency to fall.
• Pulsating, temple-to-temple pain due to anger or anxiety.
• Helpful in psoriasis of the scalp with soreness and rawness.

Face Pigmentation and Mucosal Irritation

• Brown spots and pigmentation on the face.
• Watery nasal discharge after menses and between 6:30–10:00 p.m.
• Pain and obstruction at the root of the nose; nasal symptoms may impair hearing.
• Myopia and visual distortion, especially when lowering eyes or during vertigo.
• Right eye pain > pressure, with accompanying redness.

Digestive Disturbances

• Foetid watery discharge from the umbilicus.
• Pimples on the abdomen, often transient but recurring.
• Pain in the right hypochondria at the beginning of meals.
• Constipation alternating with diarrhea: dry, hard stools with mucus, or loose stools from prior incorrect food intake.
• Diarrhea from seafood, and nausea aggravated by the smell of fats.

Lecorrhoea and Nodes in Mammae

• Itching and redness of the vagina, with discolored leucorrhoea.
• Dark, chocolate-like menses, offensive and clotting after two to three days.
• Flushes of heat, especially in climacteric women and young girls in the afternoon.
• Nodules in the mammae: painful on the left side; enlarged, red, and hot on the right.
• Profuse milk secretion upon squeezing the breasts.

Dysuria with Sleeplessness

• Urine has a distinct amniotic-like odor.
• Needle-like pain at the urethral meatus, especially at the end of urination.
• Sleeplessness, with stitching back pain around 6:00–7:00 a.m., relieved by rising.

Musculoskeletal Pain

• Moist yellow acne on the cervical region, more on the right side.
• Finger joint pain > hot water, motion, and relieves by pressure.

Cough and Asthma

• Cough originating from throat irritation, especially on the left side.
• Asthmatic breathing at night, aggravated by cold from bed sheets and requiring the patient to sit up.

Skin Eruptions

• Intense itching, often leading to scratching until bleeding, especially during sleep.
• Also indicated in acne, vitiligo, and psoriasis of the scalp.

Safety

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place; avoid sunlight and heat.
• Avoid strong smells (onion, hing, mint, garlic) during use.
• Allow 15 minutes gap between two homoeopathic medicines, 30 mins gap between Homoeopathic medicines and food, or one hour gap between Homoeopathic medicines or another system of medicines.
