Indication

Iodoformum is a homoeopathic medicine derived from Iodoform, a compound containing iodine. It holds significant value in the assistment of tubercular conditions, especially tubercular meningitis, and chronic diarrhoeas in children. It is particularly beneficial in neurological, pulmonary, and digestive ailments associated with tubercular or wasting states. Iodoformum is used both internally and topically, and is suited for weak, drowsy patients with chronic respiratory distress, abdominal distention, and neuromuscular weakness.

• Tubercular Conditions

• Assists subacute and chronic diarrhoea, especially in undernourished or tubercular children.

• Unable to stand or walk with eyes closed (positive Romberg sign indicating neuromuscular weakness).
