Indication

Kalium nitricum is a valuable homoeopathic medicine prepared through trituration or aqueous solution from Nitrate of Potassium, known for its action on the respiratory tract, heart, kidneys, and gastrointestinal system. It is especially indicated in conditions involving asthma, cardiac asthma, phthisis relapse, and dropsical swellings. The medicine is characterized by symptoms of burning, constriction, vertigo, and sudden weakness, and acts profoundly on both acute and chronic inflammatory and suppurative states. It supports cases of membranous diarrhoea, ovarian pain, cloudy vision, and bloody expectoration, often with an underlying asthmatic or nephritic base.

Respiratory Conditions

• Kalium nitricum aids in dry, hacking cough, particularly in the morning, with bloody expectoration.
• Supports in bronchitis with sharp, short cough, chest pain, and tightness.
