KAOLINUM - DL

Indication

Kaolinum is a valuable homoeopathic medicine prepared from Alumina Silicata (commonly known as China Clay or Porcelain Clay), obtained by trituration of disintegrated Felspar. Known chemically as Al₂K₂(Si₃O₈)₂, Kaolin is rich in aluminum and silicon compounds. It is especially useful in respiratory tract conditions marked by croupous affections, sore trachea, suffocative cough, and husky voice. It also acts beneficially on nasal and throat symptoms and is indicated in conditions involving lead-poisoning and dry skin. Kaolin is best suited for symptoms that towards evening and at night.

Headache and Facial Discomfort

• Kaolinum helps in pain localized in the forehead.
• Aids in relieving dull frontal pressure associated with upper airway irritation.

Nasal Discomfort

• Helps in reducing scabs inside the nose with scanty, blood-streaked secretion.

Throat and Membranous Affections

• Useful in membranous covering of either side of the throat.
• Supports local healing in throat conditions resembling diphtheria.

Suffocative Cough and Husky Voice

• Aids in suffocative cough and supports relief in croup dipping down into the trachea.
• Kaolinum manages heavy, laboured, sawing respiration with excessive soreness along the trachea and chest.

Skin Dryness

• Store in a cool, dry place; avoid sunlight and heat.
• Avoid strong smells (onion, hing, mint, garlic) during use.
• Allow 15 minutes gap between two homoeopathic medicines, 30 mins gap between Homoeopathic medicines and food, or one hour gap between Homoeopathic medicines or another system of medicines.
