Indication
Lycopodium clavatum is a deep-acting constitutional medicine in homoeopathy, particularly useful in chronic, progressive ailmentsthat develop gradually and are associated with digestive weakness, urinary disturbances, and liver dysfunction. It is well-suited to individuals who are mentally active but physically weak. Lycopodium is especially useful in atonic conditions, malnutrition, and glandular imbalances, showing a regulating influence on the sebaceous secretions. It is often indicated in older individuals with earthy complexions, yellowish skin spots, uric acid tendencies, and pre-senile debility, as well as in precocious but delicate children. Symptoms characteristically move from right to left and worsen between 4–8 p.m. Lycopodium , and digestive atony, where bloating and fermentation are prominent.
