Indication

Ocimum basilicum, a homoeopathic medicine prepared from the fresh plant of the Labiatæ family, is a lesser-known but valuable medicine with marked action on colic, urinary irritation, and nervous restlessness. It is especially noted for its ability to assist in sharp renal pains, small calculi, and helps soothing gastric disturbances with irritability.

• Markedly helpful in renal colic, especially on the right side, with sharp cutting pains.
